The exam in brief.
The FIFA Football Agent Exam takes place online, with remote invigilation. Registration usually opens in January and the exam usually takes place in April; FIFA has not yet published the 2027 dates. You can take it in English, French, German or Spanish.
For the 2026 session, the exam was open-book: candidates could use the study materials available in the exam interface, and nothing else. With about 3 minutes per question, you need to know where each rule sits.
Passing the exam is one of the four conditions for the licence, with the application, the eligibility requirements and the annual fee (FFAR, article 4).
The January 2026 study materials contain earlier editions of the RSTP, the Disciplinary Code and the Football Tribunal rules. Here you read the January 2027 editions, which enter into force on 1 January 2027 (FIFA circular no. 1970).
